Ron, the driving range is open daily 7:30am-5:30pm. It does close every Wednesday at 1:30 for maintenance and on Mondays and Thursdays you can only hit off the mats. Thank you Joe for answering his question.
No we are 90 degree rule as of today
Sounds kinky, I have never done it in the golf caddy position before but I am open to learning if you can teach me
The El Conquistador resort used to be owned and operated by Sheraton. Hilton assumed ownership some years ago. I have not stayed there but I'm sure it's top quality. If you want economical, there is a Holiday Inn Express nearby.
This is s great place to work out. The community center property is designed like a country club. Beautiful setting. Monthly membership is expensive compared to other places close by. No discount for the disabled. Locker rooms are in desperate need of upgrade.
Golf course is in terrible shape, which is too bad. Many fun holes!
The course is great, I love the differences between the conquistador course and the Canada course. I'm always a big supporter of the carts that are out to sell food and beer on the course but out here I'll tell you the cart goes in early. If you're hoping for a cold beverage early to mid-afternoon you better take your own or buy it at the pro shop!
Excellant conditions. A great course with spectacular views. Highly recommend.
The fairways were in great shape; greens have been recently aerated so not very good or "readable".
The course is amazing! The service on the course is absolutely horrendous. The starter, Bob, was ensuring that the everyone started on time. This was appreciated. However there was a misunderstanding on the first hole. Bob yelled at us for playing 5 people. We separated for the remainder of the course. Bob checked on us on the fourth hole and aggressively accused us of still playing 5 people, stating that when he only found 3 people, that the other 2 people were hiding in the bushes and that we would join them once Bob left. Once we finished up, we notified the manager of the incident. Instead of having empathy or understanding, he chose to accuse us of not having paid for all 5 individuals. This type of service is appalling to say the least. For how amazing the course is, I would have expected a much better service experience. I hope that they take the opportunity to grow from this feedback.
Amazing views... Staff and food were great
We were staying at the resort and I only did the driving range. It was very nice and looked great. The range was worn a lot so the is the reason for the 4 stars. I was hitting off dirt.
Perfect day for some tennis! Staff was very friendly. Courts have a few cracks in them, but not too bad.
Nice very big great public place.
Beautiful well maintained golf courses.
Was in the area for work, so I wasn't playing golf. It is a rather new n clean community with parks and nice roads. The views of the mountains to the north and east are pretty good from this area of town.I personally wouldn't move here as it is a ways from the things I enjoy about the area.If that isn't a concern may be just the right neighborhood for you.
Little disappointed great for golf and tennis not a great pool and facilities including the resteraunt. Reminded us of a upscale YMCA.
Wonderful course layout and views. Troon managing now so conditions and service are 5-Star. Nice they have 36 holes. Great option for multiple day group trips. Can’t wait to go back.
Played ⛳ last Sunday and the course was in good shape. Especially for this time of year. It was sad watching the mountain burn 😥 but the course was definitely worth playing.
Very nice experience. The course and staff were excellent. The snowflakes whining about this place more than likely werent following rules and dont like to be told so. I hope you dont come back. Makes for a better experience for cool people like me who dont like idiots.
Not a bad course. Especially for a beginner like me. There was some areas on the course that I felt were a bit rundown, and at times non golfers would walk the cart path right in front of you as your teeing off. I ignored them and still kept playing lol. The views on some holes were amazing. Overall its a decent course I will come back to.
Got the Burger, Birdie, and Beer deal for $39, which includes a round of 18 with cart and lunch. The price varies from month to month, but it is a pretty good deal. The course is well maintained. It offers a layout that's open enough to keep the ball in play easily but offers a challenge in it's changing slopes and hazard placements. The burger is very large and you get lots of fries. And beer included!
Played two rounds of golf. The course near the resort area not so much actual golf. The other section of the course better. Part of the problem was probably just time of year. Course looked a little dry. Played it a couple years ago and it was better.
Courses are in great shape 🏌️
It's a great place to work. And the benefits are great.
I love it here so much they have the coolest pools kids and adults water slide too. There is a fourth pool too if you like being around less people. It feels so good to just relax in one of the clean hot tubs they have! The newly renovated rooms are very elegant and relaxing. This is a must go place for anyone who wants to enjoy a weekend or all week is fun too.
Pictures do not do this course any justice. The views are amazing, one of our favorite Golf Courses down here in Tucson. My favorite aspect of this 36-hole course, is that it is actually a bit challenging! Some courses are so easy to run through, this one keeps me on my toes.
The 36-hole course offers a great experience for playing and walking around in a well maintained course and safe neighborhood. You can enjoy the outdoors surrounded by beautiful birds and other wildlife. Easy to get around and have a great experience.
Nice facility. High school workers are super helpful and polite. Great job.
Relaxing area to spend a nice afternoon. Well maintained and very clean. 👍
Nice to be able to play tennis during these times. Members only!
This is now the Town of Oro Valley rec center and it’s so much fun!
two big thumbs down 👎🏻 👎🏻. Visiting from out of town what a joke it’s laughable how disgusting it is. A disgrace and pathetic excuse for a country club and golf course. Customer service and employees are rude not knowledgeable and unhelpful. Disgusting little rundown dumb.
Tough course but fun to play. Beautiful scenery
Fantastic resort with great amenities. Service was great even when we had an unexpected guest outside our casita.
Golfed here for my birthday. The staff was so cool and accommodating. Course is in great shape and is a joy to play. Narrow, short, with tricky greens. Best birthday yet.
great facilities with friendly, helpful staff. Fees for non-members are very reasonable and are made welcome.
I played the conquistador course. The greens were in good shape. The course has some nice variety and its not too difficult
Golf course great condition. 5 hours to play need a ranger
The golf course itself is really nice. However the staff need to be better. The staff made it unclear about extra fees and requirements to play on the course. The staff told us there was an extra fee for playing before 12, which was okay, but also told us that we needed a set of clubs from each person who is playing. If you are taking a vacation in Tucson, you won't have clubs and so you have to rent them. Considering it costs $50 to rent clubs, and you need a set for each person, it gets real expensive real quick. Like I said before, the course itself is really nice, but the staff need to be more clear on fees and requirements. They should allow people to only buy one set of clubs for rent instead of making each person pay $50 for their own set.
Beautiful surroundings and views of Tuscon. Very well manicured greens and fairways. The driving range is small and stalls are not very well placed or marked out. Carts come with cooler stocked with ice.
Looking forward to the renovations. Nice place all these years. Quiet & beautiful settings
The Canada course was in decent shape considering the fact that it's the middle of summer. Pretty course with great views. The layout, though, is horrible! The distance between tees and greens are way too far, especially if you are walking. Next time I play, I'll definitely ride.
My son, father in-law, brother in-law and myself enjoyed a wonderful golf experience. This was my son's first golf adventure at just the age of 3 years old. I was worried that the staff and regulars would disapprove of my son being so young. But it was quiet pleasant to see that everyone was very welcoming and encouraging of my son. People we're very patient as we took a little longer at several holes because my son was determined to "hit the flag". Overall we walked away as a family with a very pleasant and happy experience. And certainly several long lasting memories.
Drinks pretty steep for happy hour
Expensive but worth it for special occasions
Needs grass on the driving range but great trask
Eww avoid 😷 What a joke & a dumb! Employees need to learn what customer service is. And respect and rules need to be in enforce!!!!!!!
Always fun & awesome place!😄
Awesome golf course!!
Golf course was in decent shape. Pro shop staff was very polite. Cart person was sweet. Bargain cost for green fees.
Challenging golf course, greens were in excellent condition
The facility was very nice. The second - from renting clubs deck cart and the marshal were extremely disappointing. Won't go back anytime soon.
Great golf and food is very good up in the restaurant
